About the Government vs ICT Industry Trivia Night

Purpose

The Government vs ICT Industry Trivia Night is an annual charity event that brings together Queensland public sector teams and the ICT industry for a night of spirited competition in support of TAFE Queensland Access and Equity Scholarships. The event has run for more than a decade, creating opportunities for aspiring ICT students who may not otherwise have the financial means to study.

Impact

At the 2025 event, the organising committee presented a cheque for $89,338.43 to the TAFE Queensland Foundation. These funds support approximately 10 scholarships, helping students complete ICT accreditations through the Access and Equity program, directly contributing to Queensland’s future technology workforce.

What to Expect
